Citizens should be allowed to own firearms, and not just for hunting. Allowing citizens to own guns discourages the State from entertaining fascist ideas and can ultimately help the citizenry in taking back the government from a fascist government should one ever arise. L
The death penalty should be permitted with stringent safeguards and it should be included for violent rape as well as child molestation. C
Universal health care. It works in Canada and they have a surplus. L
Our high schools should have ethics courses that emphasize the importance of marriage or a committed relationship to cut-down on teen pregnancies. Abstinence before marriage should be the goal. C
All women should have a right to an abortion, no questions asked. L
Taxes should be progressive; if you earn more you should pay more with a cap of about 40 percent. This would also include the social security tax which presently if you earn over 87 thousand a year you still pay the same rate. L
